- You need 1 cup of Bengal gram flour.
- You need 1/2 cup of Rice flour.
- Get 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Get 1/2 teaspoon of asafoetida.
- Prepare 2 of onions.
- Prepare 1 string of curry leaves.
- Use 1 of green chilli finely chopped.
- You need 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.
- Provide 2 teaspoon of Red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds.
- Get To taste of Salt.
- Provide As needed of Oil for deep fry.
Instructions to make Onion Bonda:
- In a mixing bowl add Bengal gram / besan flour, rice flour, asafoetida, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and mix well.
- Then add long and thinly sliced onion, chilli curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and mix well again.
- Then add water and mix until it’s a semi liquid loose bater as shown in picture below.
- Then take small quantity in hand as desired by you and put in oil in high heat and until it’s cooked and colour turns to light brown colour. Serve as evening snack with tea / cofee.
